Thailand
Thailand wasn’t just a trip for me – it felt like a warm welcome into a world where strangers smile at you, food tastes like happiness, and life slows down just enough for you to notice it.
Everyone told me “Thailand changes you”, and honestly, I kind of shrugged it off… until I went.
The culture is colorful, the chaos is beautiful, and the calm – when you find it – feels like your soul finally took a long nap.

1. Bangkok – Where Chaos and Magic Share the Same Street

The first thing I learned in Bangkok: you don’t “visit” the city… it happens to you.
One moment you’re squeezing through a loud market bargaining over things you definitely don’t need, and the next moment, you’re staring up at the Grand Palace wondering how humans created something so detailed without modern machines.
What stood out to me:
- The smell of street food pulling you in even when you just ate.
- Locals helping while you’re lost – without expecting anything back.
- A rooftop bar view that somehow makes the messy streets look poetic.
- Temples are so peaceful you almost forget the tuk-tuks honking outside.
Bangkok is loud and crowded, yes – but it’s also real, and that’s what makes you love it.
2. Chiang Mai – The Part of Thailand That Slows You Down

When I reached Chiang Mai, it felt like someone had turned down the volume knob on the world.
There are temples on nearly every corner, monks walking quietly through the morning streets, and cafés where time just doesn’t exist.
I spent mornings sipping coffee with mountain views and evenings wandering through night markets, trying food I couldn’t pronounce but couldn’t stop eating.
If Bangkok feels like a rush,
Chiang Mai feels like someone handing you peace and telling you, “keep it.”
Phuket – The Postcard Version of Thailand

Phuket is the place where the water really is that blue.
I remember sitting on the sand thinking, “Why do pictures not prepare you for this?”
Here’s what it felt like:
- Longtail boats rocking gently on clear water
- Fire dancers performing under the stars
- That first time snorkeling – and suddenly the world beneath you is more beautiful than the one above
Yes, it’s touristy. Yes, beaches get busy.
But when the sun begins to set? The entire sky turns into its own painting.
Koh Samui – A Coconut-Scented Daydream

The vibe here was different – calmer, softer.
It’s the kind of place where you wake up to the sound of the ocean and think, “Maybe I could live here… at least for a little while.”
Yoga sessions by the beach
Smoothie bowls for breakfast
Sunsets that make everyone quietly pause
It’s not trying to entertain you – it just exists beautifully.
These are the places that I went in my November trip. I booked my trip with Sasta Holiday. They are genuinely good.
